Honda VFR 400 R
Honda VFR400 number of motorcycles were in a series of 399 cc V4 engine motorcycles which are essentially scaled-down version of larger models of VFR days. They are primarily designed and sold in the Japanese domestic market, partly because of tighter restrictions motorcycle license in Japan at that time.
Outside Japan, the VFR400R (NC30) was officially imported into the UK for four years, but with a price of £ 5899 (similar to the time of the 1000 cc bike and more VFR750F Honda), not to sell well. This model has also been officially imported (in very limited numbers) and is sold in Austria, France and Germany for some years.
Although mainly produced in the Japanese domestic market, VFR400s have been popular for gray imports in other markets (in particular, so that the NC30 in the UK, and also the purpose of racing in the U.S.) segment "mini" superbike.
VFR400 engines produce a significant squeak when the engine is running, since cameras are diverted straight cut gears, no chains or belts.
