The HP Slate
We have to see how HP plans on making Windows 7 on a full slate device with netbook class internals perform smoothly as it shows in the demo videos. Considering the fact that the iPad is out in the market now and they are setting a pretty high expectation as to how the new generation of tables must work, the HP slate should definitely meet up to the expectations:

Imagine not over-doing your toast ever again! Thats right, no more shoving your toast in the deep dark slots of your toaster. How about a concept design would be able to make every piece of toast perfect?
This transparent toaster allows you to see the toast while it's toasting, so no more burnt toast. The design company behind this masterpiece says that currently the glass doesn't get hot enough to toast bread, but maybe in the future.

iPhone US 4.0
The much awaited iPhone OS 4.0 is on its way. There are quite a few new features added to the new OS. Here are some of the major new features:
Multitasking - The biggest request from iPhone users is the ability to multitask, and Apple delivered. Part of the new operating system includes a quick way to switch between applications without losing your spot in any of the open apps. Services include background audio, so apps like Pandora can play music in the background.
Better Background Support – for example, you're using an iPhone for turn-by-turn directions and need to check an email while still on the road. Now you'll be able to without killing the nav app.
Folders – Another wonderful feature which allows you to organize your iPhone apps in folders.
Email Improvements - It will gain a unified inbox and it will also support threaded email conversations.
Game Center - As part of iPhone OS 4.0, the iPhone will support a more social gaming experience.
iAd - Apple debuted its new mobile advertising platform. No one really like the way ads work on the iPhone. When you're playing a game, there's nothing worse than accidentally clicking on an in-game add that closes the game, opens the browser, and sticks you on a web-based ad.
Apart from these major features, there are plenty of minor features which you might want to look out for.

Nokia N-810
The customers are at an advantage when it comes to competition between great manufacturers. Here is Nokia’s tablet phone, N810. The first thing that came in my mind when I saw this model was that the screen size is just too small for it to be a tablet.
However, the Nokia 810 has some advantage over the apple’s touch or the ipad. The N810 has a 9 screen resolution of 800x480 and the 810 displays websites as they are, whereas you will need to zoom in and out. It also comes with a smooth slide with an integrated QWERTY keyboard. In a nut shell, the Nokia 810 is a neat product but I still wouldn’t call it the “tablet”.

SEIKO’s e-ink display watch
Seiko, the Japanese watch company, is making watches with e-ink displays. So what exactly is the e-ink technology?
Well, this technology that comes with an active matrix display — the same type of screen technology behind your typical LCD panel. Using active matrix, all of the legibility and low-power consumption benefits of e-ink are combined with a much richer range of imagery and data display. The “Future Now” watch renders 80,000 pixels in four shades of gray, providing 300 dpi resolutions for intensely sharp and cle`r images even within the restricted dimensions of a wristwatch screen. The unique electronic paper display module in this Seiko watch is the result of a joint development effort, bringing together E Ink's 'electronic ink' technology and Seiko Epson's advanced display manufacturing and electronic circuitry techniques. When combined, these technologies offer a wide range of display design possibilities - including flexibility!
